Our key facilitation, value engineering and training staff includes the following individuals:
RENEE L. HOEKSTRA, CVS
Principal
Renee is the Project Principal and Manager of the Phoenix, Arizona office.
She provides Partnering program development and facilitation services.
Her recent experience includes providing training services for partnering,
value engineering, environmental streamlining, team building and problem
solving workshops for various public and private clients. She is a
Certified Value Specialist (CVS). Renee is also on the roster for the
Morris K. Udall, U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution.
Renee has over seventeen years of experience in the architecture, civil
engineering and construction industry. We believe this experience in the
industry provides her with a better understanding of the needs of public agencies,
private owners, contractors and designers. Her experience working with public
agencies and her familiarity with the limitations which can be associated with
them is very valuable during issue resolution.
SUSANNE LECKBAND, P.E.
Facilitator/Associate
Susanne is an Associate in the Phoenix office and has been providing Partnering
facilitation services for the over 6 years. She is a licensed professional engineer
in the State of Arizona with a B.S. in Engineering in 1967 from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
with graduate work in Soils Engineering from Utah State University, 1977.
Her background and experience in the engineering and construction discipline provides
a greater understanding of the industry and helps during our facilitation of project
specific issues and concerns. Susanne provides facilitation services for design and
construction projects.
SYDNE T. JACQUES, P.E.
Facilitator/Associate
Sydne is an Associate in the Orem, Utah office and she is a licensed professional
engineer in Utah. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from
Brigham Young University in 1989. She has also completed the Module I, 40-hour
certification course for value engineering.
She has an extensive background in Total Quality Management. She has provided training
to the Bureau of Reclamation for the principles and implementation of TQM. She is also
a certified facilitator from the Covey Leadership Center for The Seven Habits of
Highly Effective People. Sydne has been providing Partnering facilitation services for
design and construction projects for the past 6 years.
